The
photos below were taken at the Baja
Bash in Salsipuedes, Mexico, which is located approximately
one hour south of San Diego on the western coast of the Baja peninsula.
The festival took place on an undeveloped campground that sits,
literally, up on a cliff above the Pacific Ocean. Folks, this
place makes Colorado look downright ugly. The views were spectacular,
the music was great, and the people were kind. We would very much
like to thank Pat Murphy and everyone at Promised Land Productions
for bringing us out to the festival.
The
following photo gallery is a great example of the kind of thing
you get to do when you hang out with Phix!

A
nice young lady picked us up at the airport!

 |
 |
A
band shot, to start us off...
Could this be our new promo photo?

|
These
guys need to get out more...

A
view of the coastline from the Upper Grove campsite.
|
|
And
from that same campsite, you could turn around, look the
other way, and see this...
|
 |
 |
And
here's another look at the beach from the Upper Grove campsite.
There was an extremely steep, slippery walkway down to the
beach, but it didn't stop a bunch of people from bringing
their surfboards down there.

If
you walk up to the edge like this...
|
 |
 |
You
can look down and see this.

We
inspired a painting by our new friend Aga...
|
 |
 |
Believe
it or not, our friend Barbara doesn't have a Phix sticker
on the family truckster (although she's got about 300 Phish
stickers), and we were unable to provide her with one. This
situation will be resolved asap.

We
got car parts!
|
|
It
isn't really a Mexican party until the livestock
shows up in the campground.
|
|
And
at some point there was some music and we played a show but we
have no pics of that.
